ASR subtitles ignores preferences for mandarin, breaks dictionary

ASR subtitles ignore my language preferences, default to traditional mandarin chinese instead of simplified. This breaks the dictionary settings which show both languages as traditional chinese (no english translation).

page: Netflix (Watch Orion and the Dark | Netflix Official Site, but all netflix really)
Country: USA
Configuration: learning language Mandarin (Simplified), Netflix audio: Mandarin, Subtitles: ASR Mandarin

additional note: subtitles also take on the order of 20 minutes to load, which is really slow.

This is a really annoying problem, its happening the exact to me, I hope they fix it, 8 months passed since my last post asking for it to be fixed

Subtitles created by ASR may overlook language preferences like Mandarin, leading to inaccuracies.
