@HUANLIN How does it work now? Do you still get any errors when saving words?
YEAHHH ITS A GOOD IDEA!
I’m new to language reactor and I’m already stuck. I’d like to watch Call My Agent with both French and English subtitles. I can seem to make it do that. I can’t find a help function. I tried googling the problem, and nothing there helps me troubleshoot.
Can anyone help?
hello sir ,
i am new here and indian and most of german movie titles in netflix tells this title is not available to watch in your country
will upgrading help in anyway ?
will i be able to watch those german movies on subscription ?
Hello @Dr_Ramesh_Patel,
Unfortunately, this issue is not related to Language Reactor.
The message “This title is not available in your country” is displayed due to Netflix’s regional restrictions. Netflix determines this, and we cannot fix it.
However, you can install the official browser extension - https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/language-reactor/hoombieeljmmljlkjmnheibnpciblicm?pli=1 and use Language Reactor directly on Netflix to watch any available movies or TV shows with interactive subtitles.
Thank you for your understanding, and feel free to ask questions if you have any other questions! ![]()
I’ve been struggling with this app. What I want to do is use it on my iPad while I commute to work. The only way I can do that at all is by using Orion, but even then, despite having upgraded to Pro and being signed in, I can’t use any features. It just tells me to create an account and sign in, which I’ve already done.
The chat-bot is so bad it’s insulting.
Has anyone already solved this? Can anyone help me?
Hiii! New here. Excited to power through and speedrun my german, japanese, italian and french with this
Then arabic and chinese maybe hahahaha
Hi everyone, nice to meet you all!
I’ve recently started focusing more on improving my Japanese, especially through listening and everyday expressions. Using tools like Netflix subtitles has been really helpful, since it makes learning feel more natural and less like studying.
I’m also interested in how language connects with emotions and real-life situations. Sometimes I try small things like reading short messages or simple content in Japanese to get a better sense of nuance and feeling behind the words.
For example, I came across a small page with short Japanese love messages (kind of like daily reflections). Even though it’s simple, it sometimes helps me understand how certain expressions feel in context: 恋みくじ
Looking forward to learning more here and sharing experiences with everyone!
Hello!
I kindly ask you to consider adding a flashcard feature based on the principle of active recall.
The idea is the following:
Side A:
A sentence in the learner’s native language.
For example, it could be the translation of a phrase that I marked in a podcast, a YouTube video, or another source. The word being studied should be highlighted.
Side B:
The original sentence in the target language, preferably with a photo/screenshot from the scene and the original audio from the podcast or video.
This format would be very useful because the learner first tries to recall the word and the structure by themselves, and then checks the answer using the original context.
I would also really appreciate the ability to group saved words into separate lists, decks, or tags.
For example, I would like to review separately:
words from the school curriculum and exam preparation;
words from podcasts;
everyday household objects;
irregular verbs;
words on specific topics.
It would be very convenient if it were possible to assign a tag to a word and then review only the words with that selected tag. This way, the learner could decide what exactly they want to study today, instead of only reviewing what the program shows automatically.
I think this feature would make the app much more useful for people who are seriously studying a language and want to work not just with random words, but with their own personal learning goals.
Thank you!
